Trumpet???

i have 2 and a half weeks to learn how to play the trumpet and play in a contest


got any pointers

Trumpet???
As a trumpet player 2 and 1/2 weeks is not enough to become a trumpet player. What kind of contest are you playing in and what are you playing? If you're wanting to learn make sure you practice everyday. Play long tones, scales, musical excerpts, etc once you have the fingering down. Also make sure you practice in the lower and upper registers too (lower and higher notes, mainly outside the staff). Good luck.
Reply:well,just practice,maybe learn your c scale,and the blues scale,that helped me.....
