A trumpet:


--is a sign of royalty. It was used to get peoples attention as a king or emperor came through.





--Was used before an important announcement.





--Was used to start many events.

The book of Revelation reveals that God will soon inflict the world with a series of 14 plagues. These events will not occur in random order nor will they be freak disasters caused by nature. The seven first plagues are called "seven trumpets" in Revelation because they serve the purpose of warning or awakening the people of Earth to the glorious arrival of Jesus Christ. The seven last plagues are called seven bowls because they represent seven full cups of God’s vengeance that He will pour out upon His enemies. Although the Bible completely explains these events, they will come as an overwhelming surprise for most people. Our Creator has carefully designed these coming events to achieve His goals, and He will carefully execute these judgments so that He can redeem the maximum number of people. First, God so loved this world that He gave His only Son to die in our place and second, God’s patience with defiance and rebellion is limited. During the Great Tribulation, the people of Earth will see God’s perfect balance between justice and mercy.

Are you talking about Rev 8: 1-21..





Because Rev 8:6 reads Rev 8:6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.





Because I am unclear I will let you know what I think you are asking..





The first four trumpet judgments fall on creation and the last three on mankind





Similarly, the final three trumpets are alike as were the final three seals. As the final three seals dealt with the wrath of God, the final three trumpets will deal with an intensified expression of God’s wrath (the three woes).





I can not find my books on Rev. that I studied. So I hope this was helpful and not a test lol.

Reply:In the 6th verse it sounds as if the angles are preparing to blow their trumpets. I think personally, the trumpets may not be actual trumpets. In the case of the first trumpet, I think the very loud thunder, and lightning that will accompany a huge asteroid entering our atmosphere will cause "like a trumpet" a tremendous sound. Secondly, the trumpets are the announcement that the show (or anything) is about to begin:like "attention".
Reply:These verses signify the first four trumpet judgments that will come upon the earth. John saw hail, fire mingled with blood raining from heaven. The judgment however is limited to only one-third of the world, because the purpose is not to destroy but warn people and bring them to repentance ( Rev.9:20-21 ). People will say that you can't take these verses literally, but I beg to differ. Look at the trumpet judgments that befell Egypt ( Exodus 7-12 ). I betcha Pharaoh wishes he'd taken God more serious!
Reply:The seven trumpets are described in Revelation 8:6-21. The seven trumpets are the “contents” of the seventh seal (Revelation 8:1-5). The first trumpet causes hail and fire that destroys much of the plant life in the world (Revelation 8:7). The second of the seven trumpets brings about what seems to be a meteor hitting the oceans and causing the death of much of the world’s sea life (Revelation 8:8-9). The third trumpet is similar to the second trumpet except it effect the world’s lakes and rivers instead of the oceans (Revelation 8:10-11).





The fourth of the seven trumpets causes the sun and moon to be darkened (Revelation 8:12). The fifth trumpet results in a plague of “demonic locusts” that attack and torture humanity (Revelation 9:1-11). The sixth trumpet releases a demonic army that kills a third of humanity (Revelation 9:12-21). The seventh trumpet calls forth the seven angels with the seven bowls of God’s wrath (Revelation 11:15-19; 15:1-8).

Reply:Much of the worlds vegetaion is destroyed by fire and hail, on e thired of the sea and rivers are polluted, the heavens, sun, moon and stars are darkened for a thired part of both day and night. The judgments affect humans also, for many are killed. The judgment is limited to one third of the world, because the purpose of the judgment is partially to warn ppl and bring them to repentence Read about it in Revelation. Jesus is coming soon, and we need to be ready to be able to avoid all the pitfalls of hell that will reign upon the wicked, ungodly ppl and those who claim to be Gods but wont obey Him.


We are all warned nd have no one but self to blame if we wont heed the call .
