Question about trumpet...?

i am wondering if a pocket trumpet uses the same mouthpiece as a regular size trumpet?

Reply:Yes, a pocket trumpet uses a trumpet mouthpiece. A pocket cornet uses a cornet mouthpiece. The size of the receiver on the leadpipe of a pocket trumpet is the same as a standard trumpet. The difference is that the tubing on a pocket trumpet is wound very tightly which gives it its small portable shape. Often the bell is a bit smaller than a standard trumpet, but they are pitched in the same key.
