What do angel trumpet seeds look like?

looking to identify seeds or seed pods of angel trumpet shrubs

What do angel trumpet seeds look like?
Well, if it's the Angel's Trumpet- Brugmansia you are talking about.....I just found some seeds for the first time about a month ago. You know how when the flowers fade they just kinda hang there all shrively? The seed pod forms under that! It is very similar looking to the bud. It is tan and papery and pointed long about 2-3 inches and hangs down.

Pick them when they are dry. I cracked it sideways kinda like an icecube tray. The seeds are weird, kinda chunky in different shapes that fit together and a darker tan. Cool!

Good luck :-)
Reply:Angel Trumpet (Datura genus, also called Moon Flower)-the flowers are replaced by a prickly seed capsule about 1" across. Each capsule contains several seeds that are large and angular.
Reply:Angel Trumpet and Moonflower are in the same family but very different plants. Moonflower is a vine which produces very hard good-sized seeds after flowering. They should be soaked before planting to soften them up and speed germination.
