Best trumpet mouthpiece ?

what is the best trumpet mouthpiece for me? i have a b flat horn. i play jazz. i typically want to play in the upper register but i want it to give me a nice warm tone. i am thinking about getting a 3c bach megatone mouthpiece. is that a good mouthpiece for what i am looking for. if not please list the mouthpieces you recommend for me.

Jet-Tone BC-1 (BC stands for Bill Chase).

You'll be able to play in the upper register with very little effort. Unfortunately Jet tone does not make the BC-1 any more -- they make a VBC-1 (V for vintage), and it is a millimeter larger in outer diameter than the original BC-1.

I play a Bach 7C and a VBC-1. My brother (who is the real pro trumpet player) plays a BC-1 almost exclusively. I cannot play a Back 3B or 3C for some reason.

Reply:I also agree that a Bach is the only way to good. I play on a 2c but spent a long time playing on a 3c. I have never played on a megatone, I'm not sure that its worth the extra money.
Reply:We all agree that Bach is the way to go. The 3C or 3D, either one, would certainly do the trick. I do agree with the previous respondant that the "D" would potentially result in a bit more mellow tone. You can't go too far wrong either way.
Reply:Get the 3d bach megatone mouthpiece. Its more warmer which is what you want. Trust me its GOOOOD.
Reply:i play alot of jazz, and i personnally enjosy playing on a bach 1 1/2 c
Reply:I use a 3c Bach trumpet mouth piece. All I know is that its better than a King 7c mouth piece.
