Trumpet upgrade BACH 1530?

I'm a junior in high school. I currently play a Bach 1530 in marching band and symphonic band, and I have played this type of trumpet for 5 years now. It is time for an upgrade. I would like more of an intermediate trumpet instead of a student trumpet. What type of trumpet would y'all recommend? A Bach/Jupiter/Yamaha/etc?

If you are going to major in music or continue playing in college, you might want to check out the Bach Strad series.

Musician,teacher.
Reply:If you don't want to spend a lot, try a Holton. A Bach will be better than any others, but if you don't intend to play forever, it is a real investment.
Reply:if you're a serious musician, stick with Bach, but go for a Bach Stradivarious. Definitely pricy, but certainly worth it! I've been playing mine for 10 years and haven't had a problem with it. Great tone quality as well.

If you're super serious and want to put up the cash, look into Benge or Schilke. But those are expensive, and I would say for those who see themselves playing professionally for the rest of their lives.
